ASUS is the next manufacturer updating their smartphones and tablets to the new Android mobile operating system build, 4.4 KitKat. The company on Facebook today shared that, they'll be seeding 4.4 KitKat update to the new Fonepad Note 6 and PadFone Infinity. The update can be installed both manually by downloading them from here for Fonepad Note 6 from here for PadFone Infinity, and if you don't want to wait until you see the notification for the over-the-air update.
The new firmware upgrade will bring a number of changes to both the ASUS made devices, where the refurbish will also introduce the new Zen User Interface to the units. In term of the ASUS Fonepad Note 6, 4.4 KitKat will improve and enhance modem stability and remove App Locker to combine into the launcher. And for the ASUS PadFone Infinity, the new software refresh will remove a number of pre-installed application and rename couple of them. The app changelogs are as follows.
