The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Halt on Foxconn factories in China due to Coronavirus outbreak could impact shipments for companies like Apple



Foxconn, the Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturing company's factories in mainland China, have gone into a halt, holding the production and working of the manufacturing facilities after the recent outbreak of Coronavirus in the country. The factories were asked to shut down at least until February 10, bringing an absolute stop to all the production. New reports emerging from this country in the East Asia tells us that an extension in the present halt on companies including Foxconn facilities may impact and interrupt the shipments to clients like Apple. As of now they have only come across a "fairly small impact" on the production in China due to the epidemic, and the company is reportedly utilizing factories in Vietnam, India and Mexico to fill in the space left behind. We also learn that Foxconn will be able to make up for this delay if their facilities by running overtime after the current ban is lifted in China. The source even let us know that, if the halt moves beyond February 10, it could rise concerns over the production hubs in the Southern Guangdong Province the city of Zhengzhou in Henan Province, where the Americans have their major iPhone manufacturing units located.

Apple closes all stores and offices in mainland China until February 9, considering Coronavirus outbreak


Apple Inc. has announced that, they will close all their corporate offices, official retail stores and contact centers in mainland China through February 9, a decision made in regard over concerns of their employees working in China, considering the recent widespread and outbreak of the Coronavirus epidemic in the country. According to Apple, this move is rooted on the, "abundance of caution and based on the latest advice from leading health experts." We have also read that, Apple is restricting it's employees to travel to China under the present situation, however, the company's online retail stores are said to continue it's operations in China while their physical stores remain close for the upcoming week.

We will see Apple iPhones and iPads in 2020 with mmWave 5G support, according to new industry sources


According to a new report emerging from the Taiwanese media DIGITIMES, we will possibly see the next in line Apple iPhones and iPads come featuring 5G network on board. According to this newly shared report, the Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (AES), a popular provider of independent semiconductors from the country have reportedly signed to supply substrate-based FC_AiP modules, also known as flip chip antenna-in-package technology for the next generation Apple iPhones and iPads that will bring mmWave 5G connectivity on these devices. Industry sources have also confirmed that, mmWave 5G enabled iPads will be among Apple's new product roadmaps for 2020, launching the latest generation and fastest network support on the new slates yet to go official from the Cupertino-based manufacturer. The read also states that the 5G supported iPhones and iPads from Apple are expected to arrive sometime in the second half of this year. iPads traiting mmWave 5G are likely to ship with the cost-efficient FC_AiP modules compared to InFO_AiP modules processed by TSMC, since these InFO_AiP technology is said to be 2 to 3 times more expensive than the FC_AiP process.

New analyst reports suggest more RAM and OLED displays for upcoming Apple iPhones this year


A new report posted on MacRumors, coming in from the UBS analysts Timothy Arcuri and Munjal Shah suggests that, the next in line Apple made iPhones will be here with more space in terms of RAM than it's predecessors. In the past Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis and his associates had already mentioned that iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to come out of the box with 6GB RAM, which looks to have stated once again in a new story published by our sources. The latest claims made by Arcuri and Shah, will make us anticipate all four upcoming models of iPhones this year, that includes the 5.4" smaller iPhone 12, 6.1" iPhone 12 Plus, another 6.1" iPhone 12 Pro and the largest iteration, 6.7" iPhone Pro Max all said to come with OLED displays panels.

 Other details from the read also reveal that the 6.7" iPhone Pro Max will bring along a triple lens arrangement with 3D sensing camera (again as mentioned previously) on the back and features 6GB of RAM. The 6GB RAM is also likely to be found on the 6.1" iPhone 12 Pro, which will again sport the triple lens setup for primary photography with 3D sensors on board. Apparently, the 6.1" iPhone 12 Plus and the 5.4" vanilla iPhone 12 is only expected to ship with dual cameras on the rear and 4GB of memory. TSMC, Taiwan will reportedly begin the mass production of 5nm chip for 2020 Apple iPhones by the second quarter


New reports are coming in from Chinese and Taiwanese sources that the world's largest independent fabless semiconductor foundry, TSMC or Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is all set to start the production of chipsets for the next generation Apple iPhones in 2020, that will be due for a launch September. Reports suggest that the processors arriving on the all new and purported Apple iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be manufactured using the 5nm based EUV technology integration. We even read that, about two third of TSMC's production facility available for making the 5nm chips will operate for the Cupertino based tech giant Apple alone in regard to mass produce the chipsets required for the 2020 version of iPhones, starting the second quarter of this year. In the past we has also heard that Samsung Display will mass produce the OLED display panels for Apple iPhones in 2020.

Apple iPhone in 2020 will reportedly come with sensor-shift stabilization technology


The internet has been recording a number of rumors on the forthcoming Apple iPhones that is due to launch in the new year. In the past we have heard analyst reports that suggested the arrival of standard iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max all to bring 5G network capability on board. We even heard that the biggest iteration of next generation Apple iPhone will ship with 6GB of RAM and also read some details on the manufacturer's alleged plans for a new launch pattern for their smartphones in 2021. And today we have some new information regarding the primary cameras of the forthcoming iPhone 12 series, that is likely to ship with sensor-shift stabilization technology, ditching the standard lens-shift stabilization technology, which is also knows as optical image stabilization (OIS). Nothing else was mentioned in the report other than these new rumors regarding the primary sensor from our sources. And to our knowledge, this could be a move from Apple to save some room under the hood to probably facilitate the aforementioned 5G antennas or something that we are yet to discover.

It's goodbye to Google Cloud Print service on December 31, 2020


Google has officially announced that they will be shutting down their Cloud Pint services on all operating systems on December 31, 2020. In the statement released by Google, they will no longer support their cloud based printing service from January 1, 2021. The tech giant has hence requested it's users to find an alternative solution and carry out a resettling strategy. Google also states that they have improved the native printing experience for Chrome OS and will keep adding more features to native printing platform.

Apple notes record sales of iPhone 6 in the first weekend



The Cupertino, United States based manufacturer, is indeed having a great weekend as the company have officially announced, they have already sold over 10 Million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models in the opening weekend sale. The new record came in line for the phone maker in just three days after the launch of their brand new Apple smartphones in the Stateside, back on 19th of September. As of today, Apple's new branded handsets, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are retailing in the countries including, United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and in the United Kingdom. Accordingly, Apple will be bringing the new devices to more than 20 additional countries by this Friday, 26th of September and it's also said to go live in about 115 new territories by the end of this year, 2014.

Apple is bringing the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India, soon



Apple's newly announced next generation smartphones, which made it's debut earlier this week, where the Cupertino based manufacturer is seamlessly addressing their new releases as the, "Bigger than Bigger" iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be making it's way to the country in South Asia, India by the date of October 17. The phones will be shipped and sold through to the countryside carriers Bharti Airtel and Aircel stores around the cities, but unfortunately the local pricing details are not yet disclosed, at least for now.

Google Play Store now offers Google Glass Explorer Edition



Google's wearable headset, Google Glass Explorer Edition was already made available for any 18 years or above United States resident, who's ready to pay a hefty an amount of $1500, for a product that is still undergoing development in all forms, from their official website, back in May. Yesterday, the American multinational corporation, Google, has finally opened the way for the Google Glass to their  digital distribution platform, Google Glass, now selling the Explorer Edition for the same price of USD 1500, in America.

 Alongside the headset, Google Play is also offering prescription titanium frames, shades and Earbud (earphone) for the new wearable, enhancing your experience using this Google's new expensive product. Remember, this is not yet the final consumer launch, we are waiting for, as the device is still an Explorer Edition, meaning it to be the late Beta stage, but it still can provide a niche to the dedicated application developers, and for those who want's an early headheld practice using the gadget, well literally.

Sony's upcoming Smart Shot QX1 lens-style camera accessory leaks in official Press renders



It was last year, almost the same time we saw a couple of Smart Shot Android camera accessories leak and become official from the Japanese multinational consumer electronics manufacturer, Sony, where at the company's IFA Press Conference back in 2013 they had announced the product's first iterates, dubbed QX100 and QX10. Following this an year later, today courtesy of Xperia blog, we get to see a set of leaked official Press images of their next generation and forthcoming Smart Shot attachment, again compatible with smartphones running Android and iOS operating systems, this time around reportedly naming it as the new Sony Smart Shot QX1.


But there are a number of upgrades and enhancements in the new looming device or smartphone camera, with it's model named confirmed as ILCE-QX1. Accordingly, the QX1 will introduce a E-mount for interchangeable lens, also sporting a proprietary Exmor APC-S sensor on board and built-in pop-up flash light. In term of the pricing, it hints the impending Sony Smart Shot QX1 is expected to cost around 300 Euros ($394) for only the body and 450 Euros ($709) with 16-50mm lens, now that's pretty expensive. Apple has just send out invites to the media to cover their upcoming Press Conference on 9th of September, which is just days away from now. From the past weeks we have been hearing rumors of an Apple event centered next month, which should probably be the one where the American multinational company will take the stage to unveil and announce their next generation iPhone branded smartphone, where we'll finally see a larger device from the Cupertino based phone maker, which is the leaked and talked about iPhone 6. Unfortunately, no additional details were provided.

 Speaking about the new looming Apple made iPhone 6, it is expected to pack a ultra-thin profile iOS 8 running smartphone, also featuring the most anticipated sapphire crystal kind of 4.7-inches screen, making room for 960 x 1704 pixels resolution display, a 64-bit based latest Apple A8 processor, 126 gigabytes of on board storage option, 2 GB of RAM, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, Near Field Communication (NFC), wireless charging capabilities, and a new improved 802.11ac WiFi chipset for faster speeds, an upgraded to the LTE modem for better 4G connectivity, bigger 1,810mAh powered battery, and all.

Apple is now offering free iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program



The Cupertino, California based American multinational corporation that manufacturers consumer electronics products, Apple have got a new replacement program in tow, this time it's for the iPhone 5's defective battery. The company have determined that, a number of their iPhone 5S predecessor and 2012 flagship smartphones, the iPhone 5 units may suddenly experience a shorter lifespan of it's battery or it may need to be charged more frequent, than other models. According to the US phone maker, the affected iPhone 5 devices were shipped and sold between the dates of September 2012 and January 2013.

 The new replacement process has already began in the United States and in China, the past Friday, on 22nd of August and is said to be available in more countries and other regions by 29th of this month. So, if you have a affected battery on your Apple made iPhone 5, and if your smartphone exhibits the aforementioned symptoms, and if it is eligible for the exchange program by model number, then do take it to the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store.  So, to basically prepare you iPhone 5 for the new battery replacement process, and take advantage of free service, you will have to back up all your existing data to you iTunes or iCloud, turn off you the handset from Find my iPhone and erase data and settings from the Settings of the phone.
Note: If your iPhone 5 has any damage such as a cracked screen which impairs the replacement of the battery, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the battery replacement. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the repair.

Facebook's slingshot application takes the international ride



Facebook's Snapchat rival application, Slingshot went official from the social media giant, last week. The new frames and shades are exclusively made and designed for women/girls, than like the ones Google announced back in January.

 The new frames and shades from DVF has now arrived on NET-A-PORTER's official webpage and Google Glass's domain address for the public, planning to buy a pair of fashionable wearable from Google and Diane von Furstenberg. Google Glass is coming to United Kingdom, for £1000



Google had recently made their Glass Explorer program available to any US resident above 18 years old, ready to pay a hefty amount of $1500, last month. Following this, now the company is finally crossing the United States territories, and coming to the United Kingdom for the first time with their Glass. Moments back, the Google Glass team on Google+ has let us know that the American company has decided to fulfill their customers wish, indeed making their high-tech wearable Glass available in Great Britain, starting today.

Apple opens 5W European USB Power Adapter Exchange program



Apple has opened up a new exchange program, for their customers affected with overheating of the company's 5W European USB Power Adapter. These are the adapters that shipped with Apple's previously announced iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S smartphones from the dates between October 2009 to September 2012. The Programs is limited to a number of countries in the European region.
Customer safety is always Apple’s top priority, and we have voluntarily decided to exchange every affected power adapter for a new, redesigned adapter, free of charge. We encourage customers to exchange any affected adapter for a new one as soon as possible using the exchange process below.

 You can identify your chargers, whether it is eligible for the exchange program by model number and the color of the letters "CE" outlined in red from the above picture. If you have an adapter with the model number, A1300 and the color of letters "CE" is in solid gray, you can take it to the nearest Apple Retail Store or to a participating Apple Authorized Service Provider in the country.
Note: Other Apple 5W USB power adapters are not part of this program.

Temple Run game passes 1 Billion downloads across platforms



We hope there won't be any smartphone user, who's not familiar with the Temple Run game. It is one of the hottest endless running game developed and published by the Raleigh-based Imangi Studios, that is available since 2011 for Android, from 2012 on iOS and got introduced to Windows Phone 8 devices last year. The company has officially announced that, they have crossed 1 Billion downloads for both of it's games including, the original Temple Run and the lately outed Temple Run 2, across all the operating systems aforementioned, something like Angry Birds did from Rovio Entertainment.

 And for the interesting fact, 60 percent of the game's players are female and it is most popular in China with 36 percent of downloads reporting within the country, where United States stands in the second position with 21 percent downloads, as said by the sources.
