Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

The OnePlus Concept One may actually make it to consumers, but better late than never

fonearena sat down for an interview with the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OnePlus, Pete Lau back from the show floor of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020, held earlier this month in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. And as we read through their conversation, we see confirmations coming in from Pete Lau that his company is indeed planning to launch their all new Concept One McLaren Edition smartphone for the global consumers. The manufacturer first showed off this concept device back at this year's CES, that came featuring the electrochromic glass panel technology on it's rear, capable of disappearing the four primary camera sensors, giving the unit an uninterrupted design. For this magic to happen, OnePlus uses the color-shifting glass technology as seen from the sunroof of McLaren cars  in the past. So when asked about a timeline to expect the Concept One to finally make it to the international markets for consumers, Pete Lau's reply was recorded as,
There is no specific timeline yet, but it shouldn’t take tremendously long and we will keep pushing forward with the innovation.

Huawei is working to offer 5G smartphones under $150 by the end 2020 or beginning of 2021

In a recent interview with a Chinese media CNMO, Huawei's President of 5G Product Line, Chaobin Yang confirmed his company's plans on introducing the world with affordable 5G smartphones by the end of this year or by the beginning of 2021. According to Yang, 2019 has been the first year of commercializing 5G in the global market, as as we move froward we can expect Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.  from Shenzhen, China to launch 5G supported middle-ranged or even entry-level devices to the market under the price range of 150 USD or 1000 Chinese Yuan. He also mentioned that, at present 5G smartphones are available with an expensive price tag that at least costs around 5000 RMB or $728.89 when converted, which is much higher from an average consumer's expectations. With brands like TCL announcing more cost-efficient models with the start of 2020, Yang believes that this trend may last for a long time.
The goal of communication technology is to improve consumer experience and reduce user costs, said Chaobin Yang, President of 5G Product Line, Huawei.

Xiaomi plans to launch premium Mi smartphones in India, confirms company's Head of Categories in the country

In a recent interview with Gadgets360 from India, Raghu Reddy, Xiaomi's Head of Categories in the country, confirmed to the media about their plans on bringing premium Mi branded smartphones to India starting this year. India for no doubt is Xiaomi's most successful market in the world after their home country China, and talking about their history, the brand was first introduced back in July 2014 where the Chinese people entered India's smartphone business introducing the Mi 3 handset in this part of the subcontinent. Ever since then till date the company has managed to launch over 40 Mi, Redmi, and POCO sub-branded smartphones in India, making them one of the largest phone manufacturer in the country. But Xiaomi's selling strategy in India has always been focused on entry-level and middle-ranged budget-friendly devices and now we hear that things are going to change drastically from the Beijing-based corporation. The consumers and Mi fans in India may soon see their higher-end Mi smartphones retailing the markets, if things go as planned by the phone maker.
Everything's been driven by Redmi portfolio so far. But 2020 is the year where we're looking to change that in a big way. You will see a lot more of Mi premium flagship devices that will make their way into India. We had only the Mi A series in the last two, three years. Outside of that, we didn't have any tangible product out there. But now, when we're saying that we are looking to build on the Mi series to build premium flagship devices and bring them into the country, there is going to be clear differentiation and that means that you will see a very distinctive approach for Redmi and a very distinctive approach for Mi, both of which are going to be different from each other, said Raghu Reddy, Head of Categories, Xiaomi India.
