Samsung may not just offer their latest and upcoming Galaxy S20 smartphones with dual-mode standalone and non-standalone (SA/NSA) 5G capabilities as it's standard option across all markets as some sham rumors proposed in the past. The phones may actually come as dedicated 4G LTE variants too alongside the 5G supported models. Yesterday our Samsung-oriented sources have found that, the South Koreans had accidentally published the official support page for their next generation Galaxy S20 Plus 4G LTE adaption in the Latin American region. Even though the the page was quickly taken down by the company, that few minutes were enough for the phone's model number to get leaked across the web, and is now mentioned as SM-G985F. However the 5G variant of the device is said to have it's model number as SM-G986F. Likewise, the source have also found evidence stating that the vanilla Galaxy S20 will also have it's LTE-only option with model number SM-G980F, where else the 5G model of the same phone will carry the tag as SM-G981F.
It is believed Samsung will launch the more pricier 5G variants of their all new and forthcoming frontrunner smartphones to major markets like the United States the manufacturer's country of origin, South Korea. We will likely see the 4G LTE models arrive to the other cost-conscious markets and to countries where 5G is still under development.
