Samsung Mobile has gone through an organisational restructuring and management reshuffle for the new year, and this morning the company announced their hottest new appointment. From today, Roh Tae-moon will be Samsung's President and Head of Mobile Divisions, replacing DJ Koh, who will now continue as the Head of Samsung IT & Mobile Communications (IM) Division. It may also be noted that Roh will serve at his new office as the firm's youngest President and Mobile Chief, aged 51. Roh Tae-moon, was formerly the Co-President & Head-Research & Development at Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., and also the man who had a prime and influential role behind the success of Galaxy smartphones. The reports also mention that he has played a major part for the manufacturer in their strategic shifts to outsource more phones to Chinese and other companies.
