Samsung have finally decided to launch their premium and luxurious foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold in Brazil. In a latest press release published on the manufacturer's media website for the country, they have confirmed the arrival of Galaxy Fold in Brazil and even started taking pre-registrations for the device from interested buyers. The phone will be up for sales through Samsung's official online webstore in the country for 24 hours on January 22 starting 9:00 PM (local time). Interestingly, the phone carries a very expensive price tag of Brazilian Real equivalent to 3123.33 USD, which looks about a $1000 hike in price compared to what we saw in the United States.
The released statement also mentioned that interested consumers can head over to any one of 15 Samsung stores in Brazil to have a hands-on experience before spending over $3000 for a new smartphone featuring the foldable design and flexible Dynamic AMOLED display. The phone also tots an secondary display on the foldable cover. On purchase of the smartphone are also getting Galaxy Fold Premium Services, that includes exclusive customer service options such as specialist support for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, express line in technical assistance, service pickup and drop in case of repairs and more.
