Recently Xiaomi's Global Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain announced that, POCO will be an independent brand away from it's parent company Xiaomi. And now as the company is on it's own feet, we have already begun to see and hear the leaks and rumors pouring in from the dark, disclosing new details on planned their models suspected to launch under the brand of POCO.
Here, the newly out images hits our radar courtesy of a Twitter-based user named Xiaomishka, who shared couple of images in their latest post. The first picture gives us a glimpse of the purported smartphone itself and another image making it's way with three screenshots reportedly taken from the professed POCO X2.
But interestingly the phone's name looks to be mentioned as Redmi and the model name as POCO X2, that runs on Android version 10 with Global version of MIUI 11.0.2. The shared tweet also reads that, the new POCO X2 is based on the Redmi K30, that was announced back in December. The user also told us that, the rumored POCO F1 successor, the alleged POCO F2 will launch as a separate device later in India, meaning POCO X2 will be a more premium smartphone from POCOPHONE. The phone's firmware was tested by Xiaomishka's Polish colleagues, and the smartphone looks to feature a pill-shaped dual punch hole style front facing cameras, positioned to the top right corner of the all screen display with decent bezels around the edges. The second images gives us a peek at the phone's homescreen and as well as tilling us about the model number dubbed as M1912G7BE, packing an 8GB RAM and an Octa-Core processor under the hood that's clocked at 2.2GHz.
