One of the long awaited smartphones, featuring the very customized Sailfish OS is now making it's way to the country in South Asia. Yes, we are talking about the Finnish manufactured Jolla smartphone, which will be available in India starting 23rd of this month, September exclusively through the countryside online retailer Snapdeal. The announcement was done initially by the company on their official Facebook Community page, and it seems like they have been teasing their handset's arrival on Snapdeal for a while now. Interested customers in purchasing the Jolla phone way back in India can check out Snapdeal on September 23rd, which is in just three days time for more details on the device as well as the pricing information, which is not yet disclosed.
So, as said before the devices comes with a Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor speeding at 1.4GHz with Krait 300 cores and Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit, 4.5-inches Estrade IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 540 x 960 resolution display in protection of second generation Corning Gorilla Glass, 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), 1 gigabyte of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels primary shooter on the back with auto-focus and LED flash light, as well as a two megapixels secondary front facer. For connectivity highlights, Jolla offers decent Bluetooth 4.0, Near Field Communication (NFC), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot and 4G LTE network support, there's a removable 2,100mAh powered battery and runs over self developed Sailfish operating system on top.
