Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Nokia's MWC press conference is set on February 23, Sunday


Nokia is certainly planning big for this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade exhibition. We have been treated to a number of leaks lately revealing some internal details of some upcoming launches from the Finnish-based manufacturer housed by HMD Global. We anticipate Nokia to introduce the purported Nokia Original Series handset, along with few other high-end and entry-level devices like the Nokia 8.2 5G, Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 1.3, as rumors suggested in the past. However chances of seeing Nokia bring their 9 PureView successor, the alleged and leaked 9.2 PureView smartphone with a professed under-display camera to the MWC show floor looks narrow at this moment, as some up-to-the-date speculations hint towards a September launch, but we never know. The industry have even heard about projects from Nokia that include a foldable smartphone or the 9.2 PureView to be a phone featuring flexible display.

 So with all expectations and excitement, the Nokia press conference have been scheduled on February 23, the day before MWC officially kicks-off, at 4:30 PM (local time) in the Barcelona city of Spain. The same day, Motorola will also have their event live from the country, at 7:00 PM.

Nokia 2.3 is coming to India December 27


Nokia Mobile India on Twitter have been teasing the launch of their latest affordable smartphone, Nokia 2.3 in India for a while and now we finally have have confirmations from HMD Global that, their newest addition to the budget-friendly Android One powered smartphone lineup will go official in the country starting December 27, available for retail through the manufacturer's official webstore for India. Unfortunately we haven't heard about the asking price for the handset just yet from HMD Global, but internationally the phone carries a tag of $120.54, and should soon be offered to the Indian customers without breaking the bank. Along with the phone for a limited period, the manufacturer's gives you one year free replacement guarantee as well. To avail the replacement guarantee, you will have to purchase the smartphone from India on or before March 31, 2020 and get it activated by at least April 7, 2020.

HMD Global is already teasing the launch of Nokia 2.3 for India


It's looks like the country in South Asia is all set to get the Nokia 2.3 treatment soon. HMD Global had recently announced the very affordable Nokia 2.3, that only carries a light tag of $120.54. The Android One powered smartphone was said to go one sale in select countries starting mid of December, but we are just 14 days past the month and we already see Nokia Mobile India taking their Twitter handle for sharing teaser videos hinting the arrival of their all new inexpensive handset in the country, also updating their account's profile cover image with Nokia 2.3 in Cyan Green color. Unfortunately we don't have much details on the phone's pricing and availability just yet.

Nokia hints arrival of their new phone on December 5



Nokia Mobile takes their twitter handle to announce the launch of their upcoming smartphone on December 5. The company has drawn attention of their fans with a short teaser video posted on their official Twitter account with a caption that says, "The newest addition to our family will be launched on 5 December 2019. 🙌Stay tuned to find out more! #NokiamobileLive"

 Following our guesses on the silhouette from the above screenshot, we may get to see an Android powered Nokia smartphone with a bezel-less display as they tend to bring their fleet of devices with the notch design. As you can see a glimpse of the phone's rectangular outline with rounded edges around the words, "Coming soon," in the picture. But for more, we have to wait until next month when Nokia will finally unveil the handset and bring it to lights.

Nokia Lumia 530 lands in India for ₹ 7349



After Malaysia, Microsoft have decided to bring their laterally unveiled affordable Windows Phone powered, Nokia Lumia 530 to the country in South Asia, India. Earlier this day, the Redmond based software giant and electronics manufacturer, Microsoft updated their India's official online Nokia Shop with the smartphone, Lumia 530 and will be offered in dual-SIM option, that was announced at launch, back the previous month. Nokia Lumia 530 now offered in Malaysia



Today, Microsoft have launched their latest affordable dual-SIM smartphone, Nokia Lumia 530 in Malaysia for a price of 355 Malaysian Ringgit, that's only around 111 United Sates Dollars, according to the local media reports. Microsoft's this economical smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1 has already made its way to the company's Malaysian domain and have been listed "Coming Soon" on the website. AT&T and Nokia will now offer Lumia 1520 in Matte Green in the United States

Nokia and Microsoft releases software update for X, X+ and XL smartphones



The Finnish based smartphone maker owned by Microsoft is now rolling out a new software update to their previous generation X line-up of smartphones including, Nokia X, X+ and XL units. Nokia will start updating their handsets starting today with new firmware refresh, brand new features, and enhancements, all through an over-the-air update.

 The new update for the aforementioned devices will bring the new App Switcher feature, as seen from the company's lately announced smartphone Nokia X2. This packs several Microsoft services, which is now making it's way pre-installed, where Outlook.com, OneDrive and OneNote applications are all integrated each other. There's even the improved Nokia Store, which makes it very easy to search and download games and applications to your smartphones. Also other improvements in the newly revamped Nokia Store introduces the new Home screen Spotlight widget for better finding the applications and a one-click download for snappier access to apps. Nokia seeding Lumia Cyan update to their Windows Phone handsets

Microsoft won't be updating X, X+ and XL to Nokia X software platform 2.0



Conversations at Nokia has posted a new post, concerning the software update for existing Nokia X smartphones. The company has let us know that, they are not planning to update their previously announced Nokia X, X+ and XL to the latest X software platform 2.0 based on Android, that made it's debut on Nokia X2 smartphone, announced yesterday.

 Users of the X, X+ and XL will not be receiving any over-the-air update on their smartphones, for the X platform 2.0 due to some hardware upgrade requirements. Whatsoever, the Finnish manufacturer has also made a note that, they will be pushing more performance updates in the coming months to further improve the experience using the aforementioned devices.
