The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

MWC press conferences from ZTE and LG gets cancelled over Coronavirus concerns


As we are getting closer the Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade exhibition that will take place in Barcelona, Spain later this month, and several manufacturer's already having their media event scheduled for the upcoming occurrence, we hear from ZTE and LG that, the companies will be cancelling their MWC media conferences this year and will withdraw from participating at the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry, considering the global emergency declared by the World Health Organisation on the rising situation related to the novel Coronavirus outbreak across the world. The virus has has killed over 400 people and affected 20000+ people, while continuing it's epidemic spread to more countries and cities. Recently we saw Apple shutting down all their offline stores and offices in the mainland China over the present circumstances. There are also several reports coming in from China that claims to have impact on the production of devices from the industry due to the latest outbreak in the country.

 ZTE's confirmed to cancel their press conference due to practical issues like travel and visa delays, even keeping in mind the mild case of xenophobia that makes it's way with the disease.
[We] tend to be an overly courteous company, and simply don't want to make people uncomfortable, said ZTE's representative to THE VERGE.
And with a latest statement released by the South Korean multinational electronics company, LG Electronics, the phone maker too announced that in view of safety of their employees, partners and customers, they have decided to step back from exhibiting and participating at this year's MWC.
This decision removes the risk of exposing hundreds of LG employees to international travel which has already become more restrictive as the virus continues to spread across borders. In lieu of its participation in MWC, LG will be holding separate events in the near future to announce it's 2020 mobile products.

Two entry-level mid-ranged LG Android smartphones leaks for Tracfone, L555DL and L455DL


Two new LG smartphones have surfaced on Twitter's platform, claiming it to be the upcoming LG L555DL (on left) and L455DL (on right). However there were no other details mentioned in the post, except showing off the leaked renders that glory the front side of two forthcoming smartphones from the South Koreans. But when taking a closer look at the handset we can see the phones to carry a fairly large chin, as well as bezels and the water-drop style notch housing the front facing secondary camera, which is a fashion outdated for the higher-end models in the year 2020. So staring at the phones seemingly hint us that these models should fall under LG's entry-level or middle-ranged Android smartphones for the affordable markets with 4G LTE capabilities under the hood. From the display, the phone looks to be running Android's version 9 Pie with the company's custom UX 8.0 on top. The hardware buttons are placed on either sides of the devices, where alongside the power button (positioned on the right) and volume controls (placed to the left) the phone appears to tot an additional button on the left side, mostly likely for some kind of programmed functionality on board. According to the tipster, these above models are speculated to arrive on TracFone Wireless's network, which is a prepaid, no-contract telecommunications service provider in the stateside.

Both V60 ThinQ and G9 ThinQ from LG reportedly coming in next month at MWC 2020


We already know there are two new flagship smartphones awaiting in line from the Yeouido-dong, Seoul-based multinational electronics manufacturer, LG. In in past we saw the forthcoming LG G9 ThinQ leak in some high definition CAD-based renders, and was recently followed by a leak of LG next generation V60 ThinQ's back glass panel, also confirming these models to be same phone's different iterations. The V60 ThinQ can be here with support to dual-mode SA/NSA 5G connectivity, while the G9 ThinQ only traiting 4G LTE capabilities. As of today, courtesy of our Android-centric sources, we hear that LG  is working on their plans to reportedly introduce both these smartphones at their press conference scheduled for the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 trade exhibition in Barcelona. It is worth mentioning that LG had launched the G8 ThinQ and V50 ThinQ during the same event, last year.

 Rumors and speculations from the industry suggest that we would once again see LG show off the dual-screen arrangement with the all new V60 ThinQ, as outlined in the past, like it's predecessor V50 ThinQ and G8X ThinQ in 2019. If these professed reports turn out to be a real deal, we should see the 5G-capable LG V60 ThinQ arrive with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 865 SoC, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage as base option.

Back glass of forthcoming LG V60 ThinQ leaks, it's the same G9 ThinQ but with 5G


Do you guys remember the LG G9 ThinQ that was leaked in a few high definition CAD-based renders a couple of days back? Well now it seems like we have another leak report our readers, as the very popular Twitter-based tipster from our industry, @Slashleaks have managed to get a hands-on picture featuring the black glass panel of what looks to belong to the forthcoming LG V60 ThinQ.

 Well you maybe wondering what does the V60 ThinQ have to do with LG G9 ThinQ, right? But here both these upcoming models from LG are reportedly the same, yes you read it right, the leaked and purported G9 ThinQ from the South Korean multinational electronics company will be their treatment with 4G LTE connectivity, while the V60 ThinQ (talked above) will come with support to the dual-mode frequency bands of 5G network. The primary camera module as well as the whole design aspect of the back glass from the leaked image falls exactly in line with the previously surfaced renders of LG G9 ThinQ. From the picture detailed here, the glass panel also tots LG's and V60 ThinQ's brand labeling, aligned to the center.

LG to likely introduce the V60 ThinQ Dual Screen at MWC 2020


Last year in February at LG's Mobile World Congress (MWC) event held in Barcelona, we saw the manufacturer introduce the V50 ThinQ Dual Screen 5G powered smartphone. Now according to a South Korean media, they have industry sources reportedly confirming that LG will formally launch the next generation flagship successor for the existing V50 ThinQ Dual Screen at their 2020 MWC event, taking place in less than two months time from now. The new phone scheduled to arrive at the MWC 2020 from the South Korean manufacturing giant will allegedly be named as the V60 ThinQ Dual Screen and will be support high speed 5G network capabilities like it's predecessor and will also pack the dual screen accessory. The phone is also said to offer an upgraded folding structure unlike the 360 degree freestop hinge. We also expect to see increased shipments in the home country as well as in United States and Japan from the phone maker. Unfortunately we don't have any other information regarding the phone's internals or design at this moment for you. 
LG Electronics is planning to showcase V60 ThinQ as next year's first smartphone to expand its presence in the 5G market. The company is expected to increase its shipments in South Korea, the United States and Japan, said an industry official who doesn't want his name to be disclosed.

LG G8X ThinQ is now up for retail India


LG has finally brought their dual screen smartphone, G8X ThinQ for the Indian markets. The phone was originally released back at the manufacturer's IFA event in Berlin, three months ago. In the country, the phone will be sold through retail outlets, offered in the Aurora Black color option, priced at $702.94, and will pack 6GB of RAM with 128GB of on board storage. The device will be be sold alongside the Dual Screen accessory traiting 360 degree freestop hinge from LG featuring a secondary 6.4" Full High Definition OLED display, that activates when the phone is connected to the Dual Screen cover as well a smaller 2.1" monochrome OLED panel on the outer part for time and notifications. Unfortunately we haven't heard on G8X ThinQ's online launch just yet.

The world's largest advertisement is of LG G3, holds it's position in Saudi Arabia



LG Electronics, the South Korean multinational consumer electronics manufacturer has took our eyes off with a fresh new Guinness World Record on it's way, this time around it's for the world's largest billboard advertisement, which is positioned here in Saudi Arabia. The company has received certification from the Guinness World Records team for the world's largest association for billboards installed in the capital city of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, enroute to the International Airport road.

 This new G3 advertisement billboard is equal to the length of two football stadiums, with it's horizontal length scale of a giant portrait of 12m width 250m, which sits asides the road to the Riyadh International Airport. The gigantic construction is secured safety, that can withstand wind and harsh Middle Eastern desert sandstorms, which is built with large steel structures and timber, weighing a total of 1800 tons on mass. According to the firm, about more than 20 Million people visits the King Khalid International Airport an year to witness the huge billboard, where they are paying a total amount of 25 Million United States Dollars per year for the advertising over their enormous billboard, installed on the airport ramp. In future, the manufacturer will continue advertising their new products on the new billboard as reported.

LG G3 Stylus will be available internationally starting this week



It's the lately unveiled flagship G3 like, LG G3 Stylus taking on after the L Fino and L Bello with it's international debut for more customers around the world. Yesterday LG had issued a new Press Release letting us know about their plans to make their low barrier Samsung Note competitor G3 Stylus come to the Brazilian markets this very week, which will be then followed by the regions of Latin America, Central Asia and in the Commonwealth of Independent States, later this month or in the coming weeks. LG had announced two new smartphones from their affordable L Series line-up, the past month, named as the new L Fino and L Bello. Now the South Korean manufacturer have decided to make their new handsets available for more customers around the world. Leak: LG G Watch R is said to retail for 299 Euros in Germany



LG Electronics corporation had announced their new wearable smartwatch running Android Wear operating system, a couple of days back, named as the new LG G Watch R. The new product is basically the company's first attempt to Plastic OLED based round faced smartwatch, as they've already got listed a more squarish shaped G Watch, earlier this year, which is now retailing for 299 USD from Google Play Store.

 So, alongside the official announcement of the new device, back on Thursday, the South Koreans had also included it's internal specification details, so if you want to check that out, click here. But how is the manufacturer looking forward to price their new release. Fortunately enough, guys at Android Police went through the German Press Release of the featured gadget, where it seems like LG had accidentally dropped the price of the G Watch R to be 299 Euros in the Deutschland, that's about 393 United States Dollars, a straight $100 increase from it's first generation mate. Well, the German Press Release looks to be perfect and re-edited now, as folks from the company removed the flukily published value.

G3 is the first smartphone from LG to hold 10 Million sales mark



In the latest reports out by THE KOREA TIMES, the South Korean multinational consumer electronics manufacturing giant, LG has managed to sell a total number of 60 Million smartphones, this year, 2014, out of which 10 Million sold were said to be their front runner first-rate handset, the LG G3. LG's new G3, being the company's 2014 flagship handset, announced back in May, launched worldwide officially in July, is said to be the first ever handset from the Life's Good phone maker to reach the 10 Million mark, till date in their mobile business industry, while other countryside manufacturers like Samsung do see these kind of numbers every now and then. But this new milestone is definitely a good sign for a lead South Korean electronics brand like LG, who has made a very strong comeback to the emerging smartphone markets to fight it's big competitors like Samsung and Apple and HTC. The phone has helped LG to ship a record number of 14.5 Million smartphones in the year's second quarter, as acclaimed by other sources.

LG announces G Pad 8.0 LTE, shipping begins



LG Electronics have announced a new version for their lately announced eight-inches variant of G Pad, named as LG G Pad 8.0 LTE. Starting today, Google Play will sell the LG G Watch Charging Cradle if you wish to have a spare one when you travel around in your bag. The units are now available in stock on Google Play Store at will set you back for only $19.99. So, what else does comes out of the box? LG will soon out remaining two colors for their flagship, next month



LG's flagship smartphone, G3 was officially announced back in May, in total of five color options, Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Burgundy Red and Moon Violet, as seen from the picture above. Lamentably, now LG is only retailing their latest bellwether handset in Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold shades, at the moment. But today according people from phoneArena, they have come across the details, that lists the availability of the two new tints for G3 smartphone from LG, where it's read that, the remaining tinges, Burgundy Red and Moon Violet will soon be available in select markets and carriers starting from next month, which is said to be continuing over several weeks upcoming.
Additional G3 colors such as Moon Violet and Burgundy Red will be rolled out in select markets starting in August and continuing over several weeks. Exact colors and dates will be decided locally in conjunction with carriers. Announcements will be made in each market at the time of availability.

LG's flagship smartphone G3 finally arrives in India



Following LG's event in Mumbai, India, the South Korean multinational manufacturer has announced their bellwether smartphone in the country, that will be coming in color options from Metallic Black, Silk White to Gold Shine. The company has also announced that, they've decided to launch 15,000 limited edition G3 smartphones which will ship with imprinted signature of Indian film actor, Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan, also known as Big B in Bollywood.

 Both the consumer versions of the handset is available in country in South Asia. LG will retail the 16 GB model with 2 GB RAM for a price of ₹ 47990 (796 USD), and the 32 GB variant with 3 GB RAM for ₹ 50990 ($846). The phone maker is also discounting around ₹ 5000 ($83) for their G Watch wearable powered by Android Wear, that costs ₹ 14999 ($249), where the QuickCircle Case for G3 puts you back for ₹ 3500 ($58). Lastly, LG is also offering a one-time screen replacement program worth ₹ 6500 ($108), complimentary.

Factory images and binaries of Android 4.4.4 Release 2 posted by Google for LG Nexus 5, backed by an OTA update



Google is currently updating their LG Nexus 5 smartphone with the new build of Android 4.4.4 KitKat version. The new software update roll out is only limited to a number of countries, from Australia, New Zealand to India, as reported. Users in the region will be receiving an over-the-air update to their Nexus 5 handsets, which will bring the new refurbish, with build number, KTU84Q, bringing new radio image and fixes to the networks in the aforementioned regions. This version of Google's build is dubbed as Android 4.4.4_r2.

 Alongside, Google has also posted factory images and binaries for the new build on their official Google Developers webpage, that'll some in handy for the use of restoring your Nexus 5's original factory firmware and binary hardware support files, for users of Android Open-Source Project. Factory images and binaries for Nexus 5 "hammerhead" (GSM/LTE) is read as Android 4.4.4 Release 2 (KTU84Q).

LG G Pad 7.0 and 10.1 now ready for retail business in United States



The South Korean multinational consumer electronics manufacturer, LG's G Pad 8.3 successor slates, latterly announced G Pad 7.0 and 10.1 are now all set to make it's United States sales debut, while there's no details about the G Pad 8.0's availability information. Starting today, the tablets will be available from select retailers nationwide, which includes BestBuy and Newegg. LG will offer their new G Pad 7.0 in Black, White, Luminous Orange and Luminous Blue color options, priced at $149.99 , where else the G Pad 10.1 will come in standard Black and Red shades for $249.99.

 Both the new devices will ship with Quad-Core performance, WXGA screens and  Wi-Fi connectivity, running Android's version 4.4 KitKat with the company's new simplified User Interface as seen from their front runner smartphone, LG G3.

Verizon Wireless now accepting pre-orders for LG G3



Verizon Wireless has posted the new LG G3 smartphone with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, up in their official webpage for pre-orders, which starts today. Interested Verizon customers from United States may now pre-order the South Korean flagship smartphone, LG G3 in Metallic Black and Silk White colors for $99.99 on 24 months contract period or for $29.99 per month on Verizon's Edge plan. Well, if you want to pay the full amount of cash at checkout without any further paper works, this handset will cost you $599.99. The 'Big Red' carrier from the Stateside will start shipping the phone by 17th of this month.

LG G Watch is now going international through Google Play and retailers



Today, the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer, LG has sanctioned a new Press Release, announcing the global availability of their new LG G Watch, running Android's latterly unveiled wearable platform, Android Wear. Starting today, the smartwatch will be available to customers around the world both online and offline, from Google's Play Store and through a number of selected retailers. Remember, the device is already retailing in the United States and a few more countries for $299.

 Where LG has also showed us a list of countries that will be offering their new product, G Watch. This list includes, United States, Canada, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Japan and South Korea, that will bring them both online and offline as aforementioned and also in more 15 other countries, from which the key markets are said to be Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Singapore and New Zealand.
